HOW TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE
HOW TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE
Do you ever feel like you're being dragged through like with no direction? No sense of fulfilment or drive? I believe this correlates to people struggling to know why they've been put on this earth to do.. in other words their purpose. A challenging to ask ones self. However, taking on a journey of self-analysis and reflection can lead you to the discovery of your purpose and to a meaningful life.

Reflect on Your Passion and Interests
Discovering ones purpose is no easy task. Throughout my mid-teen years, I don't think I had
thought of purpose once. It wasn't till my early twenties where I started to really question myself, about what I was put here on earth to do... if i was even put on this earth to do anything. I was in a job I hated, I had no passions, no fulfilment. So I started to look within myself, search inside what i desired. Reflect on what gives you meaning, and gain a deeper sense of purpose and fulfilment.
Find Your Core Values
Identifying your core values can be a great way to better help understand yourself and what gives you meaning. Core values are the beliefs you hold, that direct you in ever decision you make. Reflect on your values that give you honesty, compassion, creativity and personal growth. Aligning your life with your core values can bring you a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
Use Your Strengths and Skills
Reflecting on your strengths and skills in another aspect to consider when taking on a path of finding your purpose. What are your strengths? Do you have any skills? Consider new paths you could take. Identifying your strengths and skills can help you uncover new unique talents and abilities. Implement these into your life to lead you you to a purpose driver path.
Reflect on Your Life Experiences

Our life experiences shape us to be the people we are. What we see everyday, shapes our actions, our decisions. They can lead us to a path, of meaning and fulfilment or a life of dread, and unhappiness. By incorporating your experiences, what you'
ve learnt, what you've seen into your everyday life, you will begin to trust in your decisions and believe in the path you want to take.
Finding ones purpose is no easy task, which requires a deep reflection and self-analysis on the self. There is no right or wrong answer. Our purpose can change at anytime, as we continue to grow, and see new experiences. Align your life to your values, and understand how you can use your passions, strengths and skills, and life experiences to bring meaning to your life. Be true to yourself, be unique and life will reward you in funny ways. Remember it's never too late to start searching within, to find your sense of meaning and fulfilment.
