HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE WITH A BIT OF SPICE

As a personal trainer I have always been viewed as some health freak or fitness fanatic by my clients and it is only after they finally get an insight into my life that they understand. It can be difficult to wrap your head around the fact I go out on the weekends and sink quite a few beers while watching the footy but it is truly about what I do before and after the fact that makes the biggest difference to my body composition.

If your main goal is to look and feel good naked then I would ensure you learn how to track your calories! Even though I can shoot 5, 6 or even 10 beers over the span of a friday/saturday night I track my eating/drinking habits on a daily allowing me to bank up (save) and splurge (spend) my calories as I please with what I please!!

This does not mean I have cheat days as I would consider everyday my cheat day as I can be completely honest right now I do not and never will limit myself when it comes to food/drinks I eat/drink what I want when I want in moderation.

Let's show you an example...

Saturday I knew I had a 21st coming up and I was bringing a case of beers for the occasion planning to drink at least 10+ beers. Right now I am in a cutting or shredding phase as my main goal is to lose a couple kg's as I just put on a few since summer ended ahhaha

So instead of going to this party and cutting myself down to vodka lime sodas I drank the 10 beers and felt great about it. I still lost 0.6kg this week but how?? Cause I tracked my calories this week and made sure I accounted for the spike in calories I was going to experience on saturday. I knew I was going to eat above my level by at least 500 calories so what I did was took out 100 calories from my diet from monday-friday which meant in a weekly perspective I was still in a deficit.

You can do this too! Once you learn this simple skill your stress with fat loss/muscle gain should be gone!

Add the spice in your life but learn how to manage it over your week.

Let's say you have a last minute catch up you could not have accounted for then the same process is followed just added to your next few days instead :)
